Birkenchalet
The Birkenchalet is our cosy home for up to three people, ideal for couples and small families. From the balcony or the dining table, you look out directly across the town of Zella-Mehlis and into the valley. In the evening, the fireplace brings a sense of warmth and comfort, while a private sauna turns even rainy days into a spot of wellness. The playground in the woods just behind the house has so far lured every young guest away from their phone into nature.

Tourist tax
As an officially recognized recreational resort, the town of Zella-Mehlis charges a tourist tax, which is linked to the benefits of the Zella-Mehlis Gäste Card (a discount card).

Deposit, Payment Terms & Cancellations
Deposit:
A security deposit of €300.00 applies. The deposit will be refunded after check-out. We recommend taking out private liability insurance
Payment terms:
100% upon receipt of invoice, or a 50% deposit with the remaining balance due six weeks before arrival.
Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival; a 50% charge applies for cancellations up to 30 days before arrival; no refund after that.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
